Nice! I like the ‘individually designed’ on the bag, do you think it make you feel like a designer?
oops I meant, you know if you were a regular customer, you’d be, in effect a co-creator, user centric design thinking wise.

LOL! It was actually a very interesting experience. What a complete package! The bag was a VERY nice touch.
Opening my box of Nikes reminded me of the kind of end-to-end experience that Apple provides with all of it’s products. You start with “Nice box!” then move into “Nice bag” and then fall totally in love with the product!

Chris, these look pretty cool — not as scary as you led us to believe in your last podcast!
These look a little like the shoes Superman would wear to work out in.
Thanks for sharing!

I’ve deftly lowered your collective expectations so as to impress you with the final result and leave my design reputation intact.

Those are some spiffy looking treads you got there bud! Nice!
I think it’s really cool to hear about someone who has used this new service from Nike. Looks like it is all about the TOTAL package. Something that is a very important bard of a brand. Thanks for sharing!

So they look nice…and the packaging is nice…and the experience is nice…the big question is, how well do they feel on your feet?
I have to admit that I do have a desire to create my own pair, but of the most hideous color combination…

Just try using this ‘great’ Nike service to make a statement about anything they disagree with, or would look bad for Nike (ie. Made In Sweatshops). Some guy tried it, and spent months fighting the Nike PR system who, even after all that time wouldn’t let it happen. So much for freedom of speech and user created… Man, I hate those gimicks!

Speaking of subverting Nike’s products, it reminds me of Brian Jungen’s Nike shoe sculptures.
